Welcome to Hertfordshire's Self-Assessment for Carers

A carer is someone who, without payment, provides help and support to a partner, child, relative, friend or neighbour, who could not manage without their help. This could be due to age, physical or mental illness, addiction or disability.

If you would like more information, help, advice or urgent support please call us on 0300 123 4040.

Using our self-assessment form you can tell us about your life, the things you enjoy and anything that you find difficult. We may be able to give you support and advice to help you balance your life in your caring role. You can also use the links at the top of this page to find other useful information and services which may be of help to you.
